Ugh. I'm exhausted. Went to the spa with Zoe yesterday, we both needed it. If I was of the religious type, I'd be asking for prayers at this point, for my family. couldn't hurt, I guess.

Keeping everyone calm and being the logical responsible one is very draining. Thank fuck for Calli - the girl's been a huge help in handling Drew and helping out with Bryce where she can. She told me it was practice for a few months from now.

The theater's plugging along as it does. Glad some good has come of my experience, it nearly runs itself.

I'm worried about Zoe and Pat. There's not much I can do to help besides just be there, for the both of them and offer what advice I have. Unexpected, unplanned pregnancies are scary. I just... if I could make it all better for them, I would.

My kid's still hyped up on chocolate and it's all my husband's and Drew's fault. Bryce did not need the chocolate bunny bigger than him. He really didn't.

Speaking of my husband, he's not the only writer in this family, thank you very much. I've been working on a couple of children's plays for next year's theater camp that I want to do, in my spare time. Where I'm finding spare time, I'm still not sure. I need to hire an actual assistant, I think, rather than making Drew and Blaise do everything.

I forgot how much fun St Paddy's Day in The City was. Off to kidnap Zoe for shopping. Rumor has it Saks is having a 40% off sale...

Blaise, honey, I apologize in advance for the credit card bill. Call it just desserts for abandoning me to go to the Rangers game though.

We're making great strides in deciding the cast list - or we were until I heard about Zoe and called a halt.

Zoe, sweetie, if you read this, just know you're in my thoughts. I stopped by the hospital with Bryce earlier, but they said you were sleeping and I didn't want to disturb you. I did leave the jar of well wishes, though!

Pat, seriously, if there's anything you need, just let me know. I know I'm probably not the first person you'd go to to talk, but you know I've got you and Zoe's backs.

Some people around here need to get over themselves and grow up. And if you think I'm talking about you, guess what? I probably am.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a babysitter or daycare? Not full-time day care, as B and I typically trade off with Bryce, but sometimes we just... need moments to ourselves. And he can't keep flying family in.

Nggggh. I can finally walk again. Blaise surprised me with bringing my sister up to watch Bryce on Valentine's Day then stole me away to a cabin. It was a much needed reconnecting time.

I think we have the productions finally narrowed down to the top three and hopefully I can start running auditions by mid-March. I'm looking at a beginning/middle of April for opening, I think. Everything going according to plan. We need to hire staff and start figuring out concessions and yes. Wheee. I love theater life. And I love being in charge. And I love Blaise for giving me this opportunity and indulging my whims.

My husband comes home today - and though it's been nearly a year, I still cannot get over saying that. Bryce is growing by leaps and bounds, just a few days shy of six months old. He's looking more and more like Blaise each day. He's gonna be a heartbreaker when he's older.

We will be hiring in the next couple of weeks, something I look forward to doing. Then the start of productions once I decide on a play. Talk to me of theater things, lovelies. What's your favorite show?
